Not only are circumferences an attractive visual feature, but they can also have a practical function as well. In the emblematic Plaza Cardenal Belluga in Murcia, a drainage system made up of concentric circles has been installed to bring order and harmony to this historic yet contemporary space.

The technical challenge: from curvature to perfect circumference
While drainage channels are typically installed in curved layouts using a polygonal assembly, achieving a perfect circumference represents a greater challenge. Standard curvatures tend to have wide radii (10, 20 or even 30 metres), facilitating installation by leaving a small gap between the channels. For this specific project, however, the accuracy and aesthetic requirements called for a more cutting-edge approach.
