Due to wear and tear on the old drainage channels, the SFTRF (Société française du tunnel routier du Fréjus) opted to renew them to improve the safety and efficiency of toll point traffic. Following a technical assessment, ULMA Architectural Solutions has provided an optimal solution for this need.

Key reasons for choosing F250K channels

The F250K drainage system was selected for this project thanks to its excellent capacity for handling large volumes of water and its robustness under extreme loads. With an integrated 2.5% gradient, it not only optimises self-cleaning but also reduces maintenance needs. The grates are secured with eight bolts per linear metre, complying with the NF-EN1433 standard, ensuring secure fastening even under extreme conditions.

Made from polymer concrete, our channels offer high resistance to frost (the altitude in this valley reaches 2,100 metres in some places), thawing, and de-icing salts, making them a durable solution for the Sainte-Marie-de-Cuines toll booth.
