ULMA single-slot grating channels in the renovation of the Luz Shopping Retail Park (Jerez)
It has been 10 years since the Luz Shopping Retail Park was opened. A few years later, the outdoor pedestrian area called the "lifestyle centre" was developed, where we can now find smaller premises for services, leisure and restaurants.
For better efficiency in the drainage of this area, and coinciding with the renovation that has been carried out, ULMA channels have been installed to improve rainwater drainage.
ULMA SINGLE-SLOT GRATING
One of the goals when tackling the project was aesthetics, as it is a pedestrian area, the drainage system should be invisible.
Our single-slot grating was the solution, because it provides noticeable aesthetic improvements and makes the rainwater collection system invisible without affecting the pavement design. All this, without sacrificing the system's hydraulic capacity.
