Durable and easy-to-clean anti-graffiti facades
There are many products on the market that can be applied to a facade to protect it and enable graffiti to be cleaned off: These are known as anti-graffiti materials for facades.
They consist of a protective layer that provides a barrier between the paint and the facade, preventing graffiti from adhering to the facade.
But what if the facade material itself already offered these properties, so there was no need to cover it with another product?
That would be even better, right?
Much better than anti-graffiti materials for facades
Well, this product already exists, with the coating on the Stoneo facade cladding from ULMA.
You can see for yourself, because we have some images to show you.
And an image is worth more than a thousand words.
Take a look.
Our facade cladding is made with Stoneo, a stone-based material made entirely with natural components.
It is a non-porous material with near zero water absorption (0.1%), which guarantees watertightness and excellent performance against atmospheric changes, such as frost-thaw.
This makes it a highly durable material.
But aside from this water resistance, it also absorbs dirt and is very easy to maintain; it just needs to be cleaned occasionally with water and soap.
And this gives it effective anti-graffiti properties.
Facades with anti-graffiti properties
What do we mean by this?
That, since it is a non-porous material, unwanted paint and graffiti will not adhere to it very easily.
In addition, they can be removed if you act fast enough and use a product recommended by ULMA. It will be as if you have applied a specialist anti-graffiti product.
But these are just words.
See for yourself.

This is not Photoshop
Here you can see some facades covered with our Stoneo facade cladding that have been given a splash of color, which the owners are not too happy about.
This is what they looked like after being cleaned:
SPOTLESS, as you can see.
And we promise that we have not edited the photos with Photoshop.
Neither have we used the photo before the graffiti.
The latter is what crossed our minds when we received the photos, but if you look at the bottom of the facade, you can see that there is still some paint on the concrete section.
At ULMA, we offer durable facades that enable easy maintenance and allow graffiti to be removed easily if you act quickly and use the right product.
