Benches with special precast piece at the outlets centre in Viladecans, Barcelona
The Viladecans centre is one of the three new The Style Outlets in Europe. In addition to clothing and footwear brands, it has a restaurant area and a natural environment.
These are curved pieces forming circular benches, which have served as islands to combine elements inside. Water dispensers have been combined with vegetation, giving the whole unit a pleasant and harmonious appearance for the user.
These benches have been installed in the shopping area and are made of precast polymer concrete pieces, specially designed for the project, creating comfortable white benches with lower LED lighting. An optimal solution has been provided in terms of aesthetics and functionality, since the main objective was to provide curved parts with a smooth waterproof finish. In addition to these characteristics, the polymer concrete makes it possible to make lightweight parts, thus facilitating fitting on site, and the fact they are precast makes them easy to install and handle.
