Customised slats in polymer concrete
Engineered stone panels were supplied by ULMA for the facade of the Banca March building in Mallorca. The building's façade was surrounded by pillars that the architects wanted to cover to achieve a much more aesthetically pleasing facade. For this, ULMA designed and manufactured special panels adapting to the needs of the building.
175 panels or slats were installed, fastened to aluminium rails between the floor structures. ULMA precast elements provide high performance on-site fitting, since their lightweight makes them easy to place and install.
ULMA engineered stone was specified from the beginning of the project, since it is an ideal material for coastal areas. The features that make engineered stone a resistant material are its impermeability and resistance to humidity and salt.
